Back in the FIA GT Series, Vita4One Racing did not take long to get back into the swing of things on the Navarra circuit, during the penultimate round of the season. The No. 4 BMW Z26 of Karun Chandhok and Yelmer Buurman set the best time in the first free practice sessions, thanks to a lap completed in 1'38"973. In second row, we find the No. 8 Audi R11 LMS ultra of the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT at the wheel of which we find the championship leaders, namely the Belgian Laurens Vanthoor and the Monegasque Stéphane Ortelli. The top three is completed by the Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 HTP Gravity Charouz Racing n°3 by Sergey Afanasiev-Andreas Simonsen. There McLaren MP4-12C n°9 from Sébastien Loeb Racing shared by Sébastien Loeb with the Portuguese Alvaro Parente is fourth, 0 seconds behind the reference time.
