The Mercedes SLS AMG of HTP Gravity Charouz were the fastest at the end of the two free practice sessions of the FIA GT Series at Zandvoort. Alon Day set the benchmark time on the No. 1 with a lap completed in 1'39"575. The sister car driven by Andreas Simonsen only follows by seven thousandths. Laurens Vanthoor achieved the best time of the first session (the third cumulative) with a time of 1'39"695 in the Audi R8 LMS of the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT ahead of the two star-studded cars from the German team. Sebastian Loeb hoisted his McLaren MP4-12C in eighth place in the second session, half a second behind the reference time.
