Like this morning during free practice, it was the Ford GT of the Marc VDS Racing Team wearing the number 41 which was the fastest in prequalifying for the fourth round of the FIA GT1 world championship on the Sachsenring circuit. Thanks to a lap completed in 1:19:468, the Franco-Belgian pair Frédéric Makowiecki-Maxime Martin is ahead of the Exim Bank Team China Corvette Z06 entrusted to Nick Catsburg and Mike Hezemans.
It is the second car of the Marc VDS Racing Team, that of Bas Leinders and Marc Hennerici, which completes the leading trio.
Tomorrow the serious things begin with qualifying and the qualifying race.
