The first meeting of the 1 FIA GT2010 world championship in Abu Dhabi did not smile on Karl Wendlinger and the Swiss Racing Team. Fourteenth, the Austrian does not lose motivation.

"I have only seen drawings of the new Silverstone circuit, so we have to wait to find out more, says the driver of the #3 Nissan GT-R. The old route was good, especially the Bridge Corner, but I am convinced that the new one will be just as good. I think winning the Tourist Trophy will be complicated, we are not performing well enough at the moment. We weren't doing very well in Abu Dhabi with the balance of performance, and even if things change for this race, I don't think we will be able to challenge for the podium. The Nissan is a great car to drive, everything works well. Good engine, good gearbox, but we are too far from the other competitors at the moment. Winning the Tourist Trophy is a very nice feeling. I am delighted to have won this fabulous trophy not just once but twice.”
