The penultimate round of the FIA ​​GT1 world championship takes place this weekend on the Chinese circuit of Ordos. On this occasion, we will find a local driver on the starting grid in the person of Ho-Pin Tung, former Renault reservist F1 Team and who made his debut this season in IndyCar. He will support the Dutchman Jeroen Den Boer in a Corvette Z06 from Exim Bank Team China. The sister car will be entrusted to Michael Red and the Brazilian Sergio Jiminez.

Among the new ones, note the presence of the Swiss Jonathan Hirschi, who will share the wheel of the Belgian Racing Ford GT wearing the number 9 with the Dane Christoffer Nygaard. Finally, we will have four Lamborghinis present. Two Murcielagos entered by DKR www-Discount.de will be added to the usual All-Inkl.com Munnich Motorsport cars. Note that this morning, it was the Nissan GT-R of Campbell Walter-Brabham which set the best time in the first free practice session. She beat the Marc VDS Racing Ford GT of Martin-Makowiecki and the Lamborghini of Pastorelli-Schwager. Michael Krumm and Lucas Luhr, the leaders of the general classification, set the 17th fastest time in this session.
