Robin Frijns (Audi) set the best time in the first qualifying session of the Lausitzring meeting in DTM. The Dutchman completed his benchmark lap in 1'15″486, beating his teammate and championship leader Nico Müller by 96 thousandths.
Excellent performance of Loïc duval, third, a little less than two tenths behind the poleman, and who takes the first BMW M4 of Sheldon van der Linde in his wake. Followed by Timo Glock and Marco Wittmann (BMW), the Audis of René Rast, Jamie Green and Mike Rockenfeller and the BMW of Jonathan Aberdein to complete the top 10.
The first race of the weekend will take place at 13:30 p.m.
