If the Audi RS 5s of René Rast and Nico Müller dominated the first part of qualifying for the second race of the Spielberg weekend at Red Bull Ring is Gary Paffett and Mercedes who had the last word this Sunday morning.
The Briton, in the running for the title with Paul di Resta (Mercedes), achieved a best lap in 1'23″404, 28 thousandths ahead of Nico Müller. Paul di Resta will start on the second row after failing two tenths behind Müller, and will be followed by Edoardo Mortara. Pascal Wehrlein (Mercedes) climbs into the top 5 ahead of the first BMW M4 of Joel Eriksson.
Loic duval (Audi) and Sébastien Ogier (Mercedes) will start from 18th and 19th positions on the grid.
