Although many calendars were confirmed this morning following the FIA World Council, this is not the case for that of the GT World, the championship which replaces the current FIA GT1 World Championship. Although we will have to wait another week to know where the SRO caravan will travel, it is now certain that the European meetings will be shared with the FIA GT3 European Championship. The FIA also confirms that the field will now be exclusively made up of cars meeting GT3 regulations.
