The FIA GT1 will have at least seven teams for next season, or 14 cars guaranteed on the starting grids. Corvettes and Ferrari F458 Italia are expected and could be joined by Lotus Evora.
The Championship could go to North America. Stéphane Ratel, the organizer of the discipline, specified that this measure would only be effective if the calendar included an event in the United States and a round in Canada.
