The Enge-Müller crew of theAston Martin DB9 n°7 (Young Driver AMR) won the qualifying race at Beijing Goldenport by winning ahead of their teammates Mücke-Turner in the n°8. Hohenadel-Piccini (DB9 n°4 of Hexis AMR) took charge of completing the 100% Aston Martin podium after a penalty inflicted on the Lamborghini n°38 of the All-Inkl.com team of Basseng-Winkelhock.
Marc VDS Racing, which was on pole with the No. 41 of Maxime Martin and Bertrand Baguette, saw its two Matech Ford GTs abandon the race.
