Olivier Panis and Romain Grosjean, drivers of the No. 6 and No. 5 Ford GT Matech, were eliminated in Q2, second phase of the qualifying session, on the Paul-Ricard du Castellet circuit. The French drivers team up, respectively, with Natacha Gachnang and Thomas Mutsch. The pole is contested between the last eight competing crews.
