Le DTM cares about Italy and he makes it known. After launching its 2021 season at Monza last June, the German championship intends to continue its relationship with the transalpine country. The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters is indeed preparing to visit the Imola route for the first time in its history, included this Friday at 2022 campaign calendar published last September.

The test at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari is scheduled for June 17 to 19, thus closing one of the two dates still without location. There is therefore only one hole left to fill (June 3-5) between the Lausitzring (May 20-22) and Imola.
The 2022 season will begin in Portimão (April 29-May 1), which will also host the DTM for the first time in its history.
