Already very fast in racing conditions (five fastest laps recorded this season), Daniel Juncadella (Mercedes) signed his first pole position in 2018 for Race 2 of the DTM at the Norisring (Germany). On the Nuremberg city circuit, the Spaniard went barely three hundredths faster than the leader of the Drivers' championship Gary Paffett (Mercedes).
The first BMW is classified sixth with the lap of Bruno Spengler (+0″221). After a slight improvement during Free Practice 3, Audi is once again absent from the Top 10 (Nico Müller is 11th). Loïc duval (Audi) could not do better than the 17th fastest time (+0″652).
The Sunday race will start from 13:15 p.m.
