The TCR International Series is being emulated. A German version of the touring championship will see the light of day in 2016 and will be contested as part of the ADAC GT Masters meetings. Engstler Motorsport, Franz Engstler's team, which competes in the TCR International Series, will be the promoter and organizer of the series which will be called ADAC TCR Germany.
