the FIA announced this Wednesday the appearance of a new FIA GT1 world championship in 2010. The promoter of this series will be SRO.
Finally, to clarify the discipline, there will now be three distinct championships:
– The FIA GT1 World Championship reserved for independent teams and professional drivers.
– The FIA GT2 European Championship reserved for independent teams and professional and private drivers.
– The FIA GT3 European Championship reserved for independent teams and private drivers.
