EuroSpeedway Lausitz, or Lausitzring, was bought by the German company Dekra, sponsor among others of Nico Hulkenberg en F1 or the European championship of F3. The circuit will become a test track for autonomous vehicles and will stop hosting motor racing at the end of 2017.

Opened in 2000, the particularity of this circuit located in Klettwitz (Germany) lies in its high-speed oval. It was notably used in Champcar in 2001 and 2003. It was on this circuit that Alex Zanardi lost his legs in 2001 following an accident and that Michele Alboreto also lost his life in 2001.

Since 2001, the championship DTM comes there annually with the ADAC GT Masters. The Superbike World Championship also held a current round there.
