FIA GT title validated

The results from Zolder, the last race of the FIA ​​GT championship, were validated by the FIA ​​Court of Appeal. The title obtained by Michael Bartels and Andrea Bertolini (Maserati / Vitaphone) is therefore validated. Pekaracing had lodged a complaint regarding the fact that too many mechanics had surrounded the No. 12 Maserati MC1. The crew had already received a thirty-second penalty, an insufficient sanction for the Belgian team. But Pekaracing did not obtain satisfaction, the penalties of ?drive through? (passage to the stand) not being likely to be contested, as stipulated in the regulations.
