Stéphane Ratel, president of SRO, organizer of the FIA GT championship and future GT1 world championship, confirmed this Friday that the next 24 Hours of Spa will be open to cars in the GT2, GT3 and GT4 categories. The GT1s should therefore not participate in this event, which will now be the pinnacle of the European GT2 championship season.
