Lucas Auer (Mercedes) won his second pole of the season in DTM by winning Race 1 qualifying at the Lausitzring. The Austrian set a time of 1'16''193 and was a tenth ahead of Robert Wickens (Mercedes) who will start alongside him on the front row.
Maxime Martin (BMW), René Rast (Audi) and Timo Glock (BMW), Nico Müller (Audi) follow two tenths ahead of Mike Rockenfeller (Audi). The Mercedes of Gary Paffett and Edoardo Mortara complete the top ten.
Loïc duval (Audi) took 15th position. Mattias Ekström (Audi) is 12th. Jamie Green (Audi) was excluded from qualifying for not using the correct tires on his RS 5 DTM.
