Markus Winkelhock started his DTM career in 2004 with the Presson team Mercedes but never reached the podium during his 5 seasons in the touring championship. But fans of Formula 1 The German is best remembered as the leader of the 2007 European Grand Prix at the wheel of his Spyker, for his first (and only) race, in extreme conditions.
