McLaren Applied strengthens its presence in NASCAR

This collaboration with SRI ensures McLaren Applied a physical presence in the 37 races of the season NASCAR Cup Series as well as more than 50 other Xfinity and Truck Series rounds. A continuing development for the company already established in North Carolina, the cradle of American motorsport, since 2009.

With more than three decades at the forefront of motorsport, the Formula 1, McLaren's subsidiary, Applied, has developed unrivaled expertise in the design and manufacture of a wide range of high-quality, reliable racing components. The British engineering and technology specialist is the exclusive supplier of electronic engine control units (ECUs) to F1, NASCAR andIndyCar.

Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, SRI has specialized in all aspects of the motorsports industry since its founding in 1996. This collaboration allows them to include in their catalog the wide range of parts and components developed by McLaren Applied, including telemetry and timing hardware, temperature and pressure sensors, as well as a wide range of connectors, harnesses and other NASCAR-specific accessories.
