After Audi's domination yesterday and this morning in free practice 3, BMW regained momentum this Sunday in qualifying with a double for Tom Blomqvist and Bruno Spengler. The son of the 1984 world rally champion set the best time in 1’26”518, beating his Canadian teammate by 61 thousandths.
Mattias Ekström hoists the first Audi RS 5 to the second row at 64 thousandths and will start alongside the winner of the day before and championship leader René Rast. Paul di Resta places first Mercedes in fifth position by more than three tenths. Loïc duval (Audi) will start from ninth place alongside Gary Paffett (Mercedes).
