The German Nico Müller (Audi) was the fastest in the two free practice sessions on Friday organized by the DTM on the Lausitzring. More simply, Audi dominated its opponent BMW during these training sessions.
During FP1, only one M4 (that of Philipp Eng) made it into the top 7! The second session was more encouraging with Sheldon van der Linde's third time. On the side of the only French representative, Loïc duval (Audi), the hopes glimpsed in EL1 (7th) were not followed by effects a few hours later (14th).
