Müller on pole for Race 1 at the Nürburgring

Nico Müller (Audi) was the fastest this Saturday morning for the first qualifying session of the Nürburgring meeting in DTM.

The championship leader took pole position for the first race of the weekend by completing his benchmark on his final attempt in 1'46"834, becoming the only driver under 1'47" per lap in this session.

Müller thus precedes René Rast (Audi) by 0″221 and Robin Frijns (Audi) by more than half a second. Marco Wittmann retains his place as the best representative of the BMW fold by setting the 4th fastest time at 0″659. Loïc duval (Audi) will start race 1 at 13:30 p.m. from 9th position.
