After Road America, AJ Allmendinger scored his second success in as many Nationwide races, this Saturday on the new Mid-Ohio road circuit. In the No. 22 Ford Mustang, the Penske Racing protégé won the Nationwide Children?s Hospital 200 ahead of Michael McDowell, author of the pole, and Sam Hornisch Jr. Max Papis and Brian Vickers completed the top-5.
Anthony Gandon aimed for the top-20, but the Frenchman had to settle for 28th place at the finish.
