Although he is just discovering the urban layout of the Norisring, Liam Lawson seems to have already gotten used to it. Author of pole on Saturday then 3rd in the first race, the New Zealander started this final day of the season at the same pace.

The AF Corse driver actually signed his second pole position of the weekend thanks to a lap of 48. On the line, he beat his main championship rival, Kelvin van der Linde, and Nick Cassidy who replaces Alex Albon retained on the Turkish side in F1. Lucas Auer and Philip Ellis completed the Top 5.

This new pole allows him to get a little closer to the title since he pockets 3 points before the start of the last race of the year. Liam Lawson must now score 7 to be crowned or not concede as many to Kelvin van der Linde.
