The weather in the Eifel has finally left the organizers of the DTM this Sunday morning. The second qualifying session took place, after yesterday's setbacks with the fog. The drivers rediscovered the track in much milder conditions for what looks like a whole new event.
In the qualifying game, it was the winner of the day before, Sheldon van der Linde who was the best. The South African was the fastest with a time of 1’25”945 on his BWM from the Schubert Motorsport team. Just like Race 1, it was even a Van der Linde double since Sheldon beat his brother, Kelvin (Team ABT – Audi), by only 10 thousandths of a second.
