For the third time in four qualifying sessions this season, Robin Frijns (Audi) took pole position, dominating the second session held at the Lausitzring this weekend.
The driver of the brand with the rings completed his best lap in 1'15"787, 65 thousandths ahead of championship leader and winner of the first three races of the year Nico Müller (Audi). René Rast (Audi) climbs to the second row alongside Ferdinand Habsburg (Audi – WRT), when Loïc duval (Audi) and Mike Rockenfeller (Audi) will share the third row.
Marco Wittmann places the first BMW M4 in 7th position ahead of Harrison Newey (Audi – WRT). The second race of the weekend will start at 13:30 p.m.
