Mike Rockenfeller injured his foot after a collision with Gary Paffet at the Norisring. The Audi driver was doubtful for the Moscow round from July 21-23, with the German brand even calling Nyck De Vries in case 'Rocky' cannot ride.

Finally, the German driver had the doctors' approval to be able to take part in the weekend of DTM in Russia while wearing a splint. Rockenfeller is also the record holder for victories on the circuit with two successes in eight races, including the very first in 2013.
