Romain Grosjean, confident about his chances at the start of the weekend in Brno, fulfilled his mission. The Franco-Swiss driver, associated with Thomas Mutsch at the wheel of the No. 5 Matech Ford GT, won the so-called “championship” race of the Czech round of the GT1 World Championship. Sixth at the end of the qualifying race, the Grosjean/Mutsch duo finally moved ahead by a few tenths there.Aston Martin DB9 of Darren Turner and Tomas Enge and the Nissan GT-R of Michael Krumm and Peter Dumbreck. Frédéric Makowiecki and Stéphane Sarrazin, combined at the wheel of the No. 9 Aston Martin DB9, finished ninth.
