Stéphane Sarrazin has taken command of the 24 Hours of Spa. The driver of the No. 1 Maserati of the Vitaphone team was able to get the best of the Corvette and the No. 33 Maserati, showing skill on the wet Spa track. Stéphane Sarrazin is the fifth leader of the race, after Bertolini, Bernoldi, Longin and Kumpen.
