For the next season in DTM, the team announced its full participation for the first time in the German championship. SSR Performance will hire two Porsche 911 GT3 R, with numbers #92 and #94. At this time, we do not know the identity of the pilots. This year, at the Nürburgring, the German team carried out a test with Michael Ammermüller.
Mario Schuhbauer, team manager of SSR Performance, is satisfied with his team's arrival in the DTM. “After making a first guest start in the DTM in 2021, we are all the more pleased to be able to announce our entry with two Porsche 991.2 GT3 Rs in this racing series for 2022. For our still young company, the "Entering the DTM is a logical step for which we face new challenges and we want to capitalize with successes."
The 2022 DTM season will begin in Portimão (Portugal) on April 29. It contains 9 meetings and will end in Hockenheim (Germany) on October 7.
