Satoshi Motoyama and Masataka Yanagida will start in pole position for the Sugo 300 km race in Japan, the sixth round of the 2015 Super GT. The duo of the No. 46 Team MOLA Nissan GT-R, fitted with Michelin tires, set the best time in the qualifying session in 1'11″607. The favorites did not shine during the session, since the leaders of the general classification João Paulo de Oliveira and Hironobu Matsuda in the GT-R of Calsonic Team Impul only ranked 14th.
In GT300, pole went to the No. 55 Honda CR-Z of the Autobacs Racing Team Aguri of Shinichi Takagi and Kobayashi Takashi.
