Sébastien Ogier n’a pas eu de réussite pour sa nouvelle participation à la Porsche Supercup qui s’est produite en lever de rideau du Grand Prix d’Autriche sur le Red Bull Ring. The reigning world champion WRC gave up after only seven covered rounds. Kuba Giermaziak (Lechner Racing Team) won the race ahead of his teammate Jeffrey Schmidt while Sven Müller (Team Project) completed the podium ahead of Christian Engelhart (Konrad Motorsport) and Michael Ammermüller (Lechner Racing Team). The victorious Pole leads the Championship, 11 points ahead of Earl Bamber (Fach Auto Tech) who took sixth place.
