This is what we call perfectly mastered qualifications from Team Kunimitsu. With Tadasuke Makino at the controls, the No. 100 Honda NSX-GT dominated the proceedings this Saturday near Motegi where the finale of the 2022 Super GT season takes place.

Still maintaining chances of being crowned despite a delay of 17 points on leaders Katsumasa Chiyo and Mitsuno Takaboshi (NDDP Racing), Tadasuke Makino and Naoki Yamamoto will start from pole position this Sunday at Motegi. It was Tadasuke Makino who stood out during Q2 by beating the track record with a best lap of 1'35"194 ahead of the duo Yuji Kunimoto-Sena Sakaguchi (Team Bandoh) by more than a tenth. Associated with Kazuki Hiramine in the N°500 Nissan Z GT12 of Team Impul, Bertrand Baguette will start in the 2e line after 3e time in these qualifications. At the head of the championship, Katsumasa Chiyo and Mitsuno Takaboshi finished 4e more than 7 tenths of the best reference.

Respectivement sur les Toyota GR Supra GT500 N°37 et N°36, Sacha Fenestraz et Giuliano Alesi ne sont que 14e and 15e and did not make it past Q1 at Motegi.
