Pascal Wherlein's record from 2013 will be a distant memory at the end of August when Theo Oeverhaus competes in his first round of DTM. Invited to take part in the Nürburgring meeting from August 26 to 28, the 18-year-old German, currently entered in the DTM Trophy, will become the youngest driver in the history of the German championship.

« I am really happy with this chance and the confidence of the DTM, » savors Theo Oeverhaus. At the Nürburgring in a few weeks, the Osnabrück native will take the wheel of one of Walkenhorst Motorsport's BMW M4 GT3s, the other two being entrusted to Esteban Muth and Marco Wittmann.

At the Nürburgring, Theo Oeverhaus will have a busy weekend as he will not miss the DTM Trophy round despite his commitment to DTM. “ It will be a difficult weekend for me, as I will also be racing in the DTM Trophy, does he advance. Nevertheless, I am eager to show how possible it is to move from the BMW M2 Cups from the DTM Trophy to the DTM directly."
