Still under investigation for a contentious maneuver on Craig Lowndes, his teammate on the Red Bull Racing Australia, reigning champion Jamie Whincup won the second race of the Tasmania Tyrepower 400 in his Holden Commodore. He is ahead of Mark Winterbottom (Ford Falcon Pepsi) and Fabian Coulthard (Lockwood Racing). Three black flags were displayed in this second round, notably for Chaz Mostert (Ford Falcon Pepsi).
