At present, this commitment from Vanina Ickx is only assured for one round of the FIA GT1 calendar, that of Zolder in Belgium. This appearance will be the result of an invitation made by the Belgian Racing team to the Belgian driver whose popularity is still very high at home. On this occasion, she will take the wheel of the Belgian team's Ford GT. “ The Zolder circuit officials were really keen to see me race the Belgian round of the GT1 championship, but I didn't think it was possible until Belgian Racing offered me an appearance with their Ford GT », says Vanina. The driver will drive the car for the first time during a test session which will be held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday as a preamble to the season opener.
