He’s got the showmanship, Shane van Gisbergen! The three-time Supercars champion concluded the 2022 championship in style by treating the Adelaide crowd to a lovely spectacle of donuts and burns. For more than a minute, the New Zealander had fun aboard his all-white Holden. The Australian manufacturer competed in its last race in the Oceanian championship since General Motors announced the disappearance of the brand.
Shane van Gisbergen, crowned Supercars champion at the end of October during the Gold Coast 500, went as far as bursting his tires to put on a show in front of the public. Enough to forget his race, where he saw his dreams of a podium disappear after a penalty for a safety car infraction. The New Zealander concluded his season in 7th place, far from winner Broc Feeney.
