Wehrlein involved in accident

Mercedes has just confirmed that Pascal Wehrlein was involved in an accident which occurred as part of a promotional event for the German brand with the German football team held in northern Italy. The pilot of DTM hit two people present on a track closed to traffic. The Stuttgart manufacturer said the victims were taken to hospital without providing further details on their state of health. Nico Rosberg was also present on the scene.
