Wickens on pole at Lausitzring

Robert Wickens (Mercedes) took pole for Race 2 of the DTM at the Lausitzring, setting a time of 1’16”299. The Canadian beat Tom Blomqvist (BMW) by 24 thousandths. The gaps are very tight since Jamie Green (Mercedes) followed at 27 thousandths ahead of Gary Paffett (Mercedes) and Maxime Martin (BMW) also less than a tenth from the reference time.

Loïc duval is the last driver occupying 14th position, 4 tenths from pole. The Frenchman precedes Championship leader and winner the day before Lucas Auer (Mercedes).
