The return of the German Touring Championship (DTM) in Zolder (Belgium) in spring 2019 was crowned with success. As a result, the promoters of the competition and those responsible for the Flemish route have extended their agreement for the 2020 season, following an official announcement on Tuesday July 23.

“Zolder is a fantastic meeting place for the DTM,” assures Achim Kostron, Managing Director of ITR (promoter of DTM. Ed.). It is a historic place, which forgives no fault and which perfectly reflects our DNA. » Zolder hosted the very first DTM event on March 11, 1984, won by Harald Grohs in a BMW635 CSi. In May 2019, René Rast (Audi) and Philipp Eng (BMW) had shared the victories.
