New recruit for the Prema family. The Italian structure announced the arrival of young Rashid Al Dhaheri in its Formula 4 crew. The 14-year-old Emirati driver will make his debut in car in the Italian Formula 4 championship next April, a few weeks after reaching the minimum age requirement of 15.

Rashid Al Dhaheri achieved promising results in karting from a young age, with success in the WSK Euro Series in the 60 Mini class and the WSK Super Master Series in 2019. In 2021, he made the transition to the OKJ class, winning the WSK Champions Cup and the WSK Super Master Series. In 2023, the young Emirati will discover single-seaters, having already started working with Prema with several tests carried out upstream.

“I'm very happy to be part of the team and I feel like it's going to be a really interesting season, especially considering I'll be driving in a new championship with a new car and new circuits, rejoiced Rashid Al Dhaheri. It will be very important to learn throughout the season, improve and work hard with the team in constant progression. »
