The Challenger Formula 2.0 sees the light of day at the start of the season and “replaces” the Formula Renault 2.0 West European Cup. Too few teams having obtained the news car from Renault Sport Technologies, called New Formula Renault 2.0, the Challenger Formula 2.0 was put in place to allow the old version of the single-seater to run. This discipline will be integrated into the FFSA Super Series meetings and will allow the designation of a French Formula Renault 2.0 champion, with only drivers under 25 years old being eligible for this award.
