The Russian Robert Schwartzman a décroché le titre en Toyota Racing Series dimanche à Manfield (Nouvelle-Zélande). Le pilote âgé de 18 ans a terminé deuxième de la course finale, derrière le Néerlandais Richard Verschor, but enough to win the winner's cup.
Leader arriving on the Antipodes circuit this weekend, the local child Marcus Armstrong seemed ideally poised to take the crown, but a faulty engine ruined his hopes at the start of the very last lap. He managed to finish 7th. French Charles Miles finished on the third step of the podium.
