Mugello – Bortoleto on pole for Race 2, ahead of Dufek

Gabriel Bortoleto signed his 2nd pole position this season with the best time in Q2 at Mugello, ahead of Joshua Dufek. The 3rd row will be 100% French with Hadrien David (5th) and Owen Tangavelou (6th).

Mugello – Bortoleto on pole for Race 2, ahead of Dufek

Gabriel Bortoleto was the fastest on Sunday morning on the Mugello circuit. The Brazilian took pole position for Race 2, the 2nd of his season after that obtained in Barcelona. Building on his victory on the Catalan track, the R-ace GP driver ends the season in style. Bortoleto, present in Group B which started first this time, recorded a time of 1'42″874, or 21 thousandths better than the best time in Group A of Joshua Dufek. The Swiss signed his best qualification in FRECA and will start from the front row, he who is aiming for a title of best rookie this season. The Group A session was truncated by a red flag at the end of the session: Joshua Durksen, who spun, got stuck in the middle of the track, hindering Mari Boya and Sami Meguetounif.

On the second row, the new European Formula Regional champion, Dino Beganovic, will start alongside Gabriele Mini. Just behind, the first two French people will occupy the 3rd row, with Hadrien David (5th) ahead of Owen Tangavelou (6th). Among the other French people, we will find Pierre-Louis Chovet 14th, Maceo Capietto 17th, Victor Bernier 23rd, Sami Meguetounif 28th and Esteban Masson 30th.
