MP Motorsport has revealed the first name of its crew for the upcoming FRECA season, and the Dutch structure signs again Dilano van’t Hoff. The 4 F2021 Spain champion had a difficult rookie season, notably marked by an accident in Monaco. Injured in the shoulder, the 18-year-old driver was withdrawn from six rounds of the 2022 campaign at Paul-Ricard (France), Zandvoort (Netherlands) and Hungaroring (Hungary). He finished his season in 19th position, achieving a good third place in Barcelona (Spain).

« I am very grateful to MP for staying by my side even in difficult times. They have a reputation as one of the best teams in car, which is not coupled with decision-making without humanity, says Van’t Hoff. Instead, they continue to maintain their family atmosphere and show that they can win by being caring. We were victorious together in 2021, and I aim to reciprocate the trust they have placed in me by returning to my usual form. »

« Last year's shutdown made me mentally stronger, he continues, and helped me to be totally ready for the 2023 FRECA season. I have the ambition to see the Dutch team and its Dutch driver make the headlines! »

An ambition and enthusiasm also shared by Sander Dorsman, team principal of MP Motorsport: “ Last year it was easy for us to re-sign Dilano after his impressive season in Spanish F4he observes. But despite his unfortunate injury hampering his FRECA rookie season, we haven't lost an ounce of confidence in his abilities. We only had to look at our 2021 season to remind ourselves what an incredible talent he is, and his return to Barcelona last October proved to us that he is capable of great things in FRECA. We are very happy to welcome him back and together we will show the world what we are made of. »

Van’t Hoff and MP Motorsport will meet on April 21 in Imola (Italy) for the first round of the season. In the meantime, the team should announce the two teammates of its Dutch driver.
