Dino Beganovic and Prema on pole for Race 2 at Monza

Contested on a wet track, the last qualifying session of the year in FRECA largely smiled on Prema. The three drivers of the Italian team in fact set the three best times of the session, with rookie Dino Beganovic who will start on pole for the first time in this category in front of his two teammates David Vidales and Paul Aron.

This is a golden opportunity to respond to the R-ace GP hat-trick achieved on Saturday in Race 1 with Hadrien David who won ahead of Isack Hadjar and Zane Maloney. The three drivers of the French team were also on the pace this Sunday morning. It’s simple, each lap completed on this wet but drying track caused the clock to drop.

Hadjar 4th, David 7th, Meguetounif 15th

Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix), the local for the stage, was on provisional pole when Pietro Delli Guanti (Monolite) went off the track resulting in a red flag 6 minutes from the end of the session. When the cars returned to the track, there was only time for two or three flying laps. But it was in the last that the three Prema drivers made the difference and invited themselves into the Top 3.

Huddled behind his teammate Zane Maloney to obtain the best possible slipstream, Isack Hadjar was on provisional pole at the end of the first sector, but a small error in the second only allowed him to finish 4th, and the main threat for the three Prema drivers . The Habs will start 3rd after the two-place penalty inflicted on Paul Aron on Saturday.

Winner on Saturday and in the race for second place in the championship which he will have to defend against Paul Aron, Hadrien David set the 7th time. His compatriot Sami Meguetounif (R-ace GP), who played for a long time in the top 5 of the session with his little comrades, finally ranked 15th, probably slowed down by his battle at the first corner with David Vidales. The last race of the season will take place this Sunday noon at 12:10 p.m.
