In tough times lately and especially since its disqualification from Race 2 at Paul-Ricard At the beginning of June, Dino Beganovic (Prema) found a smile again at Spa-Francorchamps. Without the slightest pole position since June 4 when he had signed 2 during the first 3 meetings, the Swede dominated the day's qualifying session in the Ardennes.
Placed in 2e group to take to the track near Spa-Francorchamps, Dino Beganovic climbed to the top of the timesheet with a best lap in 2'15"292. On the front row of Race 1, the championship leader will be accompanied by his runner-up Gabriele Mini (ART Grand Prix), in turn winner of his group.
Note the great performance of Frenchman Sami Meguetounif (MP Motorsport), 2e of his group behind Gabriele Mini and 4e on the grid for Race 1 this Friday (13:50 p.m.). Concerning the other Tricolores, Hadrien David (R-ace GP) is 12e, Esteban Masson (ART Grand Prix) 17e, Owen Tangavelou (RPM) 18e, Maceo Capietto (Monolite) 20e and Victor Bernier (FA Racing) 21e.
