Pietro Fittipaldi (Lotus) improved the time of the World Series Formula V8 3.5 tests at the Nürburgring (Germany) by completing a lap in 1'41''930 with more than 3 tenths ahead of Alex Palou (Teo Martin Motorsport) and René Binder (Lotus), his closest pursuers. Fortec Motorsports drivers Alfonso Celis Jr and Diego Menchaca (leader in FP1) completed the top five ahead of Roy Nissany (RP Motorsport).
